Terms of Service

Last updated: March 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Awaira (awaira.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Awaira. Awaira reserves the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.

2. Description of Service

Awaira is a free AI company intelligence platform that provides publicly available information about AI companies, including but not limited to company profiles, funding rounds, founder data, investor profiles, AI model specifications, tool listings, job postings, and market intelligence. The platform is designed for informational and research purposes only. Awaira aggregates data from public sources including press releases, regulatory filings, news outlets, and company websites. Awaira operates as a data aggregator and intelligence platform, not as a financial advisor, investment service, or broker-dealer. No content on Awaira constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security or financial instrument.

3. User Accounts

You may browse Awaira without creating an account. To access certain features such as watchlists, voting, and personalized dashboards, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. Awaira reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in unauthorized activity. You must notify Awaira immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Awaira only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not: (a) scrape, crawl, or extract data in bulk without written permission from Awaira; (b) use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the platform beyond normal browsing; (c) attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security measures; (d) reproduce, redistribute, or resell Awaira data as a competing product or service; (e) use the platform to harass, defame, or harm any individual or company listed on Awaira; (f) transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt the platform; (g) misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the platform; (h) use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law. Awaira reserves the right to restrict or terminate access for any user who violates these guidelines, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

Awaira aggregates data from publicly available sources including company websites, press releases, regulatory filings, news publications, and other open data repositories. The compilation, organization, scoring methodology, and presentation of this data are the intellectual property of Awaira. The Awaira name, logo, design system, Awaira Score algorithm, and all original content produced by the platform are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Individual facts about companies (such as publicly known funding amounts or founding years) are not owned by Awaira, but the enrichment, scoring, and curated presentation of that data is proprietary. Users may reference Awaira data in articles, reports, or presentations with proper attribution (e.g., "Source: Awaira"). Bulk reproduction, systematic extraction, or reverse-engineering of the Awaira Score is not permitted without a written license agreement.

6. API Usage Terms

Awaira may offer API access to its data. The free tier permits up to 100 API requests per day per user. All API usage requires visible attribution to Awaira in any product, dashboard, or publication that displays data obtained through the API. Higher rate limits are available through paid plans. Awaira reserves the right to throttle, suspend, or revoke API access for any user who exceeds rate limits, fails to provide attribution, or uses the API in a manner that competes directly with Awaira. API keys are non-transferable and must not be shared publicly or embedded in client-side code. Awaira is not liable for any disruption, downtime, or data loss resulting from API usage.

7. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

All data on Awaira is provided "as-is" for informational purposes only. Company valuations, funding amounts, employee counts, and other financial data are estimates based on publicly available sources and may not reflect exact figures. Awaira makes reasonable efforts to ensure data accuracy but does not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any information displayed on the platform. Private companies are not required to disclose financial information. Reported valuations and funding totals may reflect post-money valuations, pre-money valuations, or media estimates, and these distinctions are not always clearly delineated in source data. The Awaira Score is a proprietary composite metric and does not constitute investment advice, a credit rating, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Users should independently verify any data before making business, investment, or research decisions. To report data inaccuracies, contact data@awaira.com.

8. Limitation of Liability

Awaira is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall Awaira, its operators, directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform. Awaira’s total liability for any claims arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Awaira in the twelve months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.

9. Changes to Terms

Awaira may revise these Terms of Service at any time by posting the updated version on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the platform or via email to registered users. Your continued use of Awaira following the posting of revised terms means you accept and agree to the changes. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you should discontinue using the platform.

10. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Awaira shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
